Dr. Philip Afshar is a skilled and compassionate general dentist committed to blending clinical excellence with a personalized patient experience. Known for his calming chairside manner and advanced training in cosmetic and surgical dentistry, Dr. Afshar helps patients in Somerset, Franklin Township, North Brunswick, and nearby communities achieve healthier, more confident smiles.

A respected leader in cosmetic, implant, and restorative dentistry, Dr. Haddad brings over 30 years of experience to Advanced Dental Arts. Learn more about his background and philosophy on the Meet Dr. Haddad page.
Jennifer has been a practicing dental hygienist since 1994 and has been part of the Advanced Dental Arts family since 2002. She’s passionate about delivering pain-free, thorough cleanings and helping her patients maintain optimal oral health. Her warm personality and gentle touch make every hygiene visit something to smile about.

When not in the office, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.
Betsy brings over 20 years of clinical experience and has been a valued team member since 2011. Her credentials include certifications in radiology, CPR, and autologous blood concentrate training. Betsy is known for her friendly, compassionate demeanor and her deep commitment to patient care.

In her spare time, she enjoys working out, decorating, and spending time with family.
Kathy has been with Dr. Haddad since 2004 and brings a unique perspective to the front desk after spending 12 years as a dental assistant. Now as Office Manager, she ensures that every patient’s experience is smooth, efficient, and friendly—from check-in to billing.

Outside of work, Kathy enjoys boating, jet skiing, cooking, and family time with her husband and daughter.
Janice joined the team in 2017 and brings over 17 years of dental assisting experience. Originally from the Philippines, she’s CPR/AED certified and currently pursuing both her Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification and a degree in Information Technology.
“I love learning and growing—both in the dental field and beyond.”
In her downtime, Janice enjoys traveling, music, mobile gaming competitions, and trying new cuisines.
Brianna became a licensed dental hygienist in 2021 and has been part of the Advanced Dental Arts team since 2023, but her journey started much earlier. A lifelong patient since age 5, she was inspired by the positive experiences she had growing up in our office.
“My goal is to educate and inspire my patients on their oral and systemic health with personalized care.”
Outside of work, Brianna loves hiking, baking, and spending time with friends and family.
